Romy BhojwaniRomy brings 25 years of experience in the global hospitality and real estate industries, having worked in several key hotel markets around the world including the Americas, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. Prior to founding 360 Capital Advisors, Romy was Senior Vice President, Asset Management for Delta Hotels and Resorts – where he established Delta’s Real Estate and Asset Management platform, and led the creation and deployment of a $175 million capital plan to fully renovate and reposition Delta’s owned hotels portfolio across Canada. Prior to that, Romy was Senior Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels based in Los Angeles, California, where he performed a leadership role in the execution of the firm’s investment sales, debt and equity capital raising, strategic advisory and asset management services in the Western United States. Prior to that, Romy served as the Vice President of Asset Management at Hilton Hotels Corporation, based at the Global Headquarters in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, he led the implementation of the company’s real estate strategy across all owned, leased and joint venture hotels in North America, and performed asset management functions for a portfolio of 120 properties across 8 hotel brands. Also in this position, he successfully executed a 3-year portfolio rationalization strategy, which included hotel dispositions valued at $2.5 Billion and capital spending in excess of $350 Million. Earlier in his career, Romy held Hotel Operations roles with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, and Taj Hotels, Resorts, and Palaces, both in India. He also held different positions with Horwath Asia-Pacific, a hospitality consulting firm and Sonnenblick-Goldman, a boutique Real Estate Investment Bank, both based in Singapore. Throughout his career, Romy has actively led or participated in hotel real estate transactions valued in excess of $4.5 Billion, led the planning and execution of capital projects valued at $600 million, and performed valuations for over $36 Billion in hospitality assets – including hotel and mixed-use real estate, hotel brands and management companies. Romy is a graduate of the Master of Management in Hospitality program at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and also has a Certification in Strategic Management from the Hotel School’s Professional Development Program. Romy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pune, India and an Associate Degree in Hotel Administration and Food Technology from Sophia College, Bombay. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator with the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and a Certified Hotel Asset Manager with the Hospitality Asset Managers Association. Romy is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Cornell Hotel Society, and the Cornell Entrepreneurs Network. |

Tim GohmannTim Gohmann is a veteran of the travel and hospitality industry, with a specific focus on marketing research and data analysis. His expertise centers around the conversion of large and complex data into key actionable insights that drive performance improvement. Tim was instrumental in creating the first real-time performance management system for Hilton Hotels Corporation – utilizing the Balanced Scorecard including the industry’s first Owner’s Scorecard, which measured portfolio performance, owner satisfaction and loyalty. Tim also led the large-scale online guest after-stay satisfaction measurement for Starwood Hotels and Intercontinental Hotels. Tim was also responsible for the research supporting Ritz-Carlton’s second Malcolm Baldrige Award, the air passenger-impact investment model for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airports. Tim began the Travel Practice at J.D. Power and Associates, founded his own hospitality research company, Customer Relationship Resources, and directed the Travel Group for TNS Global. Tim has previously held executive roles with Wirthlin Worldwide and The Coca-Cola Company, and is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer at Behavioral Science Lab. Tim has earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in experimental psychology from the University of Virginia and an A.B. in psychology from University of Notre Dame. He is the father of three, lives in Austin, Texas and serves on the Capital Campaign Committee of his church. |

Apo DemirtasApo Demirtas’ experience spans 30 years of operations and leadership roles in revenue management, sales and marketing, distribution strategy, and business intelligence. Apo began his hotel management career as a student at a Hotel Management Vocational High School. His first position was Page-Boy at the age of 15. Apo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Hospitality, a business intelligence company. Prior to founding Intelligent Hospitality and developing HotelIQ Business Intelligence®, Apo was based in Dubai, UAE, where he held the position of Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Jumeirah Group. In this role, he was responsible for Market Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Brand Management & Strategy, Distribution, PR & Corporate Communications and Revenue Management for the group. Prior to his time with Jumeirah Group, Apo worked in senior corporate sales, marketing and revenue management positions with high profile international hospitality companies including Hilton Hotels Corporation, Cendant Corporation and InterContinental Hotels Group. Apo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management. He also earned his Master’s degree from the Florida International University School of Hotel Management in 1995. Subsequently, he did his doctoral level work in Microeconomics & Marketing in Hotel Management at Ohio State University. Apo’s extensive global experience in the strategy, branding, operations, sales, marketing, distribution and revenue management fields of the hospitality industry covers multiple brands and industry segments, ranging from luxury hotels to select service properties. |
